An introduction

I'm going to keep this short.

I'm going to try to keep everything on this blog short, because that's what it's supposed to be; after all, these are things that I learned on Wikipedia, not the articles themselves. You want to learn it all for yourself, go read the whole thing.

Anyway. This is an idea that I've had for a while now, because I spend quite a bit of time on Wikipedia, randomly cruising around looking for things I want to know more about. Part of this is completely innocent: who doesn't want to know more stuff? Part of it isn't: if I can convince myself that I'm learning something, then maybe I can put off reading Civ Pro for another 15 minutes. Whatever it is, I often found myself wanting to share my newfound knowledge with somebody, and having nobody to do so with. This is an attempt at that. Hopefully it's as interesting for you as it is for me.

A few rules. First, I'm not going to use the Wiki home page for inspiration; this is all stuff that I had the inkling to search for at some point in time. This may be a scary thought, depending on what it is that I actually post about (i.e. "who would ever search for that?"). Second, it may turn into Things I Learned on Wikipedia Yesterday; that all depends on how law school is going. We'll see. For now, this is all I have. I look forward to starting as soon as possible.
